By day I’m Teacher Judy, extroverted ESL instructor;

by night I’m Bard Judith, an artist who needs the silence

and who carefully crafts scraps of junk or words or images into a curated, new whole.

  I make jewelry, art journal pages, shrines, textbooks, ideas, rooms.

  This blog is a safe place – for me to write and make art in, for you to come and take away what you want,

and perhaps, as packrats are said to do, to trade something.

Drop what you are carrying

(whether a twisted-wire hurt, a treasure gleaned in nature, a burden of worry, or a pearl of wisdom)

and pick up something you like better here.

Or come sit around my firelit hearth and join the bardic circle.

I’ll invite you to listen, and perhaps to play along.
